Fun and colourful, the Tag-A-Bag kit makes dressing gifts easy. Here I've created an ombre of colour on our lovely white Sketched Dots bags using the brayer. Do you have any parties coming up??
Brayer tips for even coverage without lines (but I must say these bags are very forgiving!):
After inking up, roll one full turn on scrap paper to get a lot of the ink off.
Start almost completely off the paper bag and work your way upwards.
At the end of each forward and back motion, flick the roller with your wrist to spin it so it doesn't roll in exactly the same spot on the next forward and backward motion. This is the key.
Time to hop over to Teneale :)
We have heaps to dazzle you with loads of gift packaging ideas this week!
why did I not think to color the bags! BOOM - you blew my mind!
ReplyDeleteSUCH a cute idea, Susan!
ReplyDeleteI love these! They look so lovely! Did you colour the back as well? Did they take long to dry?
ReplyDeleteHi Ruth! I only did the front. No, it didn't take long to dry at all. I get most of the ink off the brayer before I start so it wasn't sopping wet anyway. You have more control over colour consistency that way as you build up a little at a time.
DeleteTOO clever for words. WOW.
