Sprinkles of Life Birthday Card ~ Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

At Stampin' Up! we're proud to be supporters of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). This week the Artisan Team are featuring this years RMHC stamp set - Sprinkles of Life. I'm finding it lots of fun and really versatile - I know you will too!!

Remember every time a purchase of this set is made, Stampin' Up! donate NZD$3.50 to this great cause, ultimately helping families in need.

Interactive cards are so much more fun right? Here's my little shaker card. Enjoy and happy hopping :)

How to make your own shaker card:
1 Decide on base colour and top colour.
2 Cut your hole - punch, die cut, trimmer....
3 Adhere window sheet over your hole. I used fast fuse.
4 Use the long sides of the dimensional sheets around the edge of your window to enclose it and normal hexagon dimensionals around the rest of the card front.
5 Brush the dimensionals with embossing buddy BEFORE peeling off backing to stop your confetti sticking to the sides.
6 Fill your shaker.
7 Line up and stick card base on top.

Hop along to my friend Teneale next!

Silhouettes & Script Birthday Card ~ Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Being a hostess certainly has its rewards! This week the team are featuring a bunch of our awesome new hostess sets. (What's a hostess set? See more info below.)
Hello hello if you've clicked through from our June Facebook showcase :)

Soooo here's a birthday card I made for my bro-in-law.....

Silhouettes & Script Birthday Card ~ Susan Wong

If you haven't noticed, I can't seem to escape using that Happy Birthday from the Silhouettes & Script stamp set this month... just.can't.stop....

Tips for making this card:
1) Sponge Crushed Curry and then Tangelo Twist onto the sun for a two-tone look when you stamp.
2) Use the brush end of a marker across the background for some detailing in the sky.
3) Sponge ink around the edges of your clouds for extra dimension.

(Sorry, slightly average photo. Winter lighting just isn't the same! Boo - bring back Summer!)

What's a hostess set?
We have a special little section at the back of the catalogue that contains stamp sets exclusively available to those who host a workshop and have collective sales of at least $300. Stampin' Rewards start off at 10% of your orders total so you can use them to purchase hostess sets or anything else your heart desires in the catalogue. Don't forget, this also applies if you make a large order at any time.

Cherry on Top Birthday Donut - nom nom ~ Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

If this card looks a little familiar, it's because it kinda goes with the one I did last week...
Ok so I used the colour theme again because it worked. The Cherry on Top 6x6 paper stack is so bright and fun. Ooo, and I'm loving using a sentiment as a background feature. Do you do this too?

Hope you like and that you enjoy our Artisan DT birthday-themed hop this week!
