Cheers Gift Box ~ Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

July!! The second half of the year has begun and it's the middle of Winter in New Zealand. Brrrrr. 14 degrees today (57 if you speak Fahrenheit) is sort of a manageable cold though.

July also marks our twelfth month of bringing you weekly inspiration as the Artisan Design Team 2014-2015. Has it really been a whole year already?! Most of us look forward to continuing until October as we bring things into line with the Global Stampin' Up! calendar. So thankful for these fabulous gals and - hey - saying thanks is our theme this week!!

It's the last week of term two before our mid-year school holidays. Penny and I baked some shortbread and I thought, why wait until the end of the year to show her kindy teachers some appreciation? So this little package joined us on the walk to kindergarten... and went down a treat of course ;)

Create a shadow effect behind your die cut by sponging through the hole from the off-cut with white ink.

The Nitty Gritty:
This box is size medium on our fabulous Gift Bag Punch Board. I created flaps on both top and bottom to give a bit of strength and interest and left off the gusset scoring on the sides. Made using card 1" shorter than our standard A4 card width (21cm). Sorry - I always mix imperial and metric!! The yellow insert is 3" wide.
Don't forget to stamp before you stick the box together!

Time to hop on over to the talented Teneale :)
