Welcome to Just Add Ink 405!! It's been a long long time since I wrote a phrase like that. A BIG thank you to my old friends at Just Add Ink for having me as a Guest Designer. I'm so excited I get to join you all over the next few weeks - there's so.much.talent in this design team!
So what is this crafty gig? Simply make a project using the inspiration photo above, blog it, and link your post on the original Just Add Ink challenge *HERE*. (See Just Add Ink post for challenge rules/guidelines.)
For me this pic is all about rustic textures so here's my card using the Basket of Wishes stamp set...
Hot Tips:
- For added texture, emboss your Wood Textures designer paper with the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
- If colouring with inks and your aqua painter on Very Vanilla with a classic ink outline, use a quick, light touch so you don't saturate the paper or make the ink run too much.
- For a velvet touch, scrunch and re-scrunch card stock until you're able to peel the two layers apart.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Basket of Wishes
Inks: Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Dapper Denim, Smoky Slate
Papers: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack, Sahara Sand, Smoky Slate
Tools/Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Linen Thread, Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes
