Celebrate Happy Notes! ~ Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Here we are in the happy month of August when it's downhill until Christmas, but still suitably far, and you can tell by my succulents starting to bloom that the weather is getting just a little warmer. Bring on the NZ Spring!!

This week on the Artisan hop we're celebrating Happy Notes and Stake Your Claim stamp sets (pp 64-65 in your Annual Catalogue). Both have coordinating framelits which make them pretty easy to love.

And here's my card! My husband says he's liking my colour combinations lately.
That's pretty nice of him ;)

The Everyday Chic designer papers are so easy to customise. Here I used some vibrant Tangelo Twist. It's got to be one of my favourite colours. 

Quick Tip: Sponging

After inking up your sponge, dry it out until it's not streaky on some scrap paper. The colour on your project will then spread in a more controlled way to get just the right amount of ombre - or whatever you're going for!
