"Travel journaling . . . have you tried it yet? Basically, it’s a fun way to document memories in a small book. You do it as you go and without overthinking! So, it was the perfect way to record fellow Artisan, Jennifer Frost’s, time here in New Zealand recently! She let me steal some pics from her phone and do it from her perspective. I hope you can tell—we had a blast!!
The main products I used for this project are from the Gotta Have It All Bundle (item 149812) in the gorgeous Share What You Love Suite, available May 1–31 as an early release from Stampin’ Up!’s upcoming annual catalogue. I also snuck in a coffee cup from the Coffee Café Stamp Set (item 143677). It’s perfect for an urban theme with fresh tones, right?
Hot Tips
· Don’t be afraid to hand draw frames and doodles just as you would in bullet journaling. A black inky pen like our Journaling Pens (item 145480) works wonders!
· Keep the colors basic. I used only Tuxedo Black Memento ink (item 132708), Smoky Slate (item 131179), and a pop of the new Grapefruit Grove, available in the In Color Collection 2018–2020 (item 147153) until May 31.
· Staples and clips, like the Gold Binder Clips (item 141673), for those pieces of travel memorabilia, are your friends. Pair with the Circle Tab Punch (item 143754) and a bow of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine (item 124262) or similar for a fun little handle or label.
I hope you have some fun getting your memories off your phone and onto paper! Satisfaction level: 100%!
