I'm excited to show you my first play with the Waterfront stamp set. Inspired by the beautiful work of Kim Jolley, I wanted to give a playful and fresh feel to build on the arty vibe of the set. So I mixed it with a favourite set of mine - Pieces and Patterns. Quite a modern take on a Valentines card right?
Stamps: Waterfront, Pieces & Patterns
Inks: Basic Black Archival, So Saffron, Island Indigo, Pool Party (plus reinkers for saturation on the wash and markers for background splatter)
Papers: Whisper White Thick, Watercolor Paper
Tools/Accessories: Aquapainter, Silver Metallic Thread, Linen Thread, Delicate White Doilies, Metallics Sequin Assortment. Striped Washi Tape and Wink of Stella Gold - retired.

Wow. Wow. Wow. You completely nailed it Susan.
ReplyDeleteWow! These are absolute jaw droppers! I love the bold, brightness of the Island Indigo card... And that the Pool Party card looks like a tranquil Caribbean Sea... I just want to jump right in!

Gorgeous cards Susan, so so pretty. Waterfront stamp set is one I don't have, but starting to change my view. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards! I love the doily just peeking underneath. Isn't it amazing how changing just a couple of elements and colors totally changes a card? Well done!
ReplyDeleteI just adore these! They are perfection.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful cards. Love how you have created a scene! Thanks for sharing 😊
ReplyDeleteWould never have paired these two sets together but they are FAB! I'm sure there's a more technical term, but love the drips!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThese are both utterly gorgeous!! I love everything about them xx
ReplyDeleteAnother two amazing cards, Susan! What a big difference the littlest changes make... color, washi to doily, and a bit of bakers twine with sequins. Brilliant and beautiful! TFS!!
