I've taken my project masculine and nautical for a very special someone: This Friday Jason and I celebrate our 11th Wedding Anniversary! Just look at these babies!! 

Surprise! This card is made from one of the FREE Sale-A-Bration Tutti-Frutti Cards and Envelopes. I just turned it inside out for a white card base on the outside. So there's a fun pattern on the inside now that matches the Night of Navy designer paper background I used. Nifty!

Sure Do Love You - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome to our February Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop! This month is zooming by, and Valentine's Day with it, so we're all excited to show you how the Painted with Love Suite can go way beyond Valentines and into a universal love theme that lasts all year long.

I started by doodling and stamping in bullet journal form, taking colour-combo cues from the peachy piece of Painted with Love Specialty Designer Paper. And then it happened - this set of three cards to match. Hope you love them as much as I do! (And doesn't it look super sweet paired with the Fruit Basket stamp set?!)

TIP: Squiggle on some glue with your Fine Tip Glue Pen and sprinkle on the gold flakes generously. Let dry then tap off excess.

All Things Thanks - The Crafty Carrot Co.

Welcome to the Crafty Carrot Co. Blog Hop! I'm so stoked to show you my banana card!! Haha. I love the bananas in the Tutti-Frutti Designer Paper (have I seen similar patterns on shirts or pyjamas somewhere?!) and just had to use them on a project. For our March Online Program we'll be featuring these papers along with the All Things Thanks stamp set. A little bit of gratitude goes a long way right? So we hope you'll join us for what is bound to be a rockin' month!

I'm a big fan of a bit of stripe! These papers have some great neutrals amongst all the fruitiness!! Isn't it cool how the crumb cake stripes here tone in with a banana theme? And as for the fussy cut bananas - they're totally over the top but I couldn't resist.

His and Her's - Let's Get Hopping Blog Hop

Today the Let's Get Hopping team bring you a bunch of 'his & hers' inspired projects. Many people find it hard to bring a masculine feel to a card so we're showing you that with the same layout and a few tweaks you can nail it too!

I'm excited to show you my first play with the Waterfront stamp set. Inspired by the beautiful work of Kim Jolley, I wanted to give a playful and fresh feel to build on the arty vibe of the set. So I mixed it with a favourite set of mine - Pieces and Patterns. Quite a modern take on a Valentines card right?

Inks: Basic Black Archival, So Saffron, Island Indigo, Pool Party (plus reinkers for saturation on the wash and markers for background splatter)
