International Scrapbooking Day is 4th March 2016. To celebrate, we're having an Artisan Scrapbooking Hop!
For me scrapping is all about reliving great memories together. My kids just LOVE thumbing through the albums. Now, I love a traditional 12x12 layout and they do appear in the album occasionally BUT they're pretty time consuming when you have three kids tearing around plus a newborn! So in more recent years I've turned to Project Life. This form of memory keeping is easy, doesn't require a lot of resources and comes together quickly. Thank you Project Life!
Are you a busy mum like me? You can do it too - get some of those pics off the phone/computer and into real life! You won't regret it. And if you can do it with minimal effort - even better.
You may have seen this first page in progress on Facebook. If so, you'd already know that one of my fav ways of using the pocket pages is splitting larger photos. This creates a visual break in my album as I tend to pack a lot of photos in elsewhere! Here I used an 8x12" and cut it into two 6x4" and three 4x4" segments. A little detailing from the Moments Like These Card Collection and we're sussed.
Love the acetate overlay here from the Memories in the Making collection. It's FREE until 31st March when you spend $110. One side is gold and it's silver on the reverse!
Special thanks to the lovely Keri-Anne at First Light Birth Photography for making my pregnancy look glamorous. That's how I want to remember it ;)
