Bit of a personal story this week. I don't know if it's because I've gotten a bit older or just more comfortable in my skin that I've decided not to shy away from photos or complain about how I look in them. (In most cases no one else's eye is so critical anyway!!) I DO know that someday it will be important to my kids that I was present in their memories through photos and how I look in them only reflects where I was externally at the time - the biggest thing was that I was there and that I love them.
I encourage you to embrace how you look now in photos whether you feel you have some weight to lose or gain or whatever. Paint that smile with your pearly whites showing on your beautiful face - your loved ones will thank you for it :) xox

ReplyDeleteThis page is adorable !
ReplyDeleteYour family page is lovely and your message is VERY IMPORTANT. Mothers are generally always the picture takers so are seldom in the shot. My grown children treasure the few pictures where we are in them together. So ladies - get in those pictures!!! :) Thanks Susan!
ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful despite being 'heavily pregnant'! Thanks for the great page inspiration!
