When I came across those navy stripes on the Birthday Bash papers, they reminded me of a skirt the bride used to wear. I had to use them! Actually, I never told her that link. Somewhat irrelevant perhaps.
The beauty of photopolymer stamps is you can see exactly where you're putting the ink. I didn't use a marker on this one (because that would require digging in my pencil case) but carefully inked all of the stamp except the word 'birthday' using a regular ink pad. I then cleaned it well and inked only the 'day' in 'birthday' and hey, presto - you have an image that can used be for any celebration. The Hello Honey embellishments around 'day' are from the 'HB' stamp in this same set. Same deal - just used the ink pad instead of a marker. Well, you know me - always one to take a stamp not only for its face value. Have a bit of fun and think outside the box with your images :)
