We took Easter global this year with a full-weekend project. And so I bring you the first of our new home DIY posts! Our bathroom is a light grey on ceiling and walls with a chocolatey wood-look linoleum. Suffice to say I felt we needed a splash of colour. Introducing: Resene's Chilean Fire. So awesomely orange...
Materials Used:
Printer paper & printer (obviously)
Vinyl (we had a roll left over from another project)
Snail adhesive to stick paper to vinyl
Craft knife & snips for cutting out
Paint & roller
Disclaimer: The paint did bleed under the stencil a bit but it seems to add to the authenticity of the coastlines.
At this point as we fiddled with the height and placement I was wondering if it would actually work... But then we carefully peeled!
E Voila!
Wow - this is awesome. A great way to add colour to your bathroom. Look forward to see more DIY projects. Chantell
