So below my take on the sketch. Believe it or not, this is actually a hybrid card. Since I didn't have any images the right size or kind that I wanted, I had a quick browse on My Digital Studio, resized this stamp from Creative Elements to approx 6.3cm (2 1/2") and printed it on our Whisper White card.
To colour the flower I would normally get out a sponge but in my nearly-ready-to-give-birth situation, I just couldn't be bothered getting up so I call this technique 'Finger to Paper'. The ink spread really easily and gave more vibrance quicker than a sponge! There's some yellow colouring pencil in there too.

This card served well as a 40th wedding anniversary card for my parents. What an awesome milestone! We are immensely proud of them and their long-standing commitment to loving one another.

ReplyDeleteSusan I love how you have put this together and also incorporated MDS with an image the size you wanted. Don't forget fingers were invented before sponges! Look after yourself and your new little life. xx
