The challenge at Just Add Ink this week is to make ANYTHING. But of course I had to have some sort of perimeters to work within so I set them for myself...
A friend of mine is pregnant and I thought it would be a neat idea to make some mini thank you cards for all the baby gifts she receives. These are made using the Love Notes (p.131 IBC) which come with their own wee envelopes. They're so cute. I wanted to experiment with matting white on white (and vanilla on vanilla). I used a touch of sponging to give it the dimension that matting in different colours usually would.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Animal Stories (from Summer Mini - now retired), Short & Sweet ($35.95)
Colours: Going Grey, Elegant Eggplant, Kiwi Kiss, Real Red, Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Kraft (woah!)
Others: Non-SU! Buttons, Jumbo Eyelets, Love Notes, Linen Thread
