Back 2 Basics - Let's Get Hopping

Stamps, inks and paper are all you need to create something meaningful and beautiful. Often, as Stampin' Up! demonstrators, we get lost in aaaall the pretty things. But we started as beginners too and there's something really special about the simplicity of a basic project right? So, Jennifer Frost and the team of Let's Get Hopping enthusiasts are bringing you a Back 2 Basics themed hop this week.

Here are my simple cards made from Krista Frattin's class kits leftovers box! The Coffee Break designer series paper turns Christmassy! What do you reckon?!

And if you follow me on social media you might have seen this baby too. Thought I'd add it in because a little colour and some paper go a long way. Many of you know that at the beginning of this month, we Crafty Carrot Co. gals (minus Valerie) were in snowy Canada together!! It was such a dream doing a bunch of touristy things together plus my live class for this month's Watercolor Christmas program and of course lots more stamping! A FOND FAREWELL

In a bittersweet parting we wish Valerie Moody, our UK Crafty Carrot Demonstrator, a fond farewell. She's taking leave to focus on other areas of her life but you'll still see her around in some of our guest spots over the coming year. They went down a treat - partly because I also took Whittaker's Artisan chocolates?? In any case - it was an appropriate stamp set because they're ALL Awesomely Artistic!

Artisan Design Team Announcement!

Oh I'm SO excited to finally be able to share this news!! You guessed it - I'm on the 2018 Artisan Design Team for Stampin' Up! I'm absolutely thrilled to be representing Stampin' Up! for a third term and what's more, I get the extra privilege of being Team Liaison this year. A HUGE thank you to Stampin' Up! for trusting my leadership and administrative skills on that count. It's going to be a fabulous year together!

So what does being an Artisan mean? Well, it starts with this gorgeous gift box that arrived just before I flew to Canada for the trip of a lifetime to see friends I made on the 2016 Artisan Team! That's right - friendships within the team can grow so strong you'd fly half-way across the world just to finally meet each other in person! In fact, design credit for the box itself goes to two of these fabulous friends - both ex-Artisans who are now Concept Artists at Stampin' Up! - Becky Foster-Cowley & Cindy Schuster. Both amazing, compassionate and equally inspirational women!

What follows in the coming year is that we, the team, get boxes of goodies, make things and blog about them to inspire YOU. I'm really looking forward to working with a fresh bunch of talented girls this year - some returning and some brand new.
