ReplyDeleteboth VERY creative AnD gorgeous! salt with watercolor paints is one of my favourite techniques! haven't done it in ages though so now i will use it again! really like how Ucombined the simple sentiment w/twine AND the glitter on the trees steps it up giving it even more WoW! thereRso many things i LOVE about the 1st card2...the vellum is a fabulous idea and having just a hint of the Emeral Envy added to the card. i adore what yo did using the Soft Sky leaves/stem even tho it is not the usual color used! it looks so pretty! and the background stamping and splatters really add to it too!
ReplyDeleteI like the colour combo, fresh and alive looking

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Deli. Haha, yes salt! A trick I learnt at a watercolour painting session I did with a dear friend when I was about 12! In my painting it looks like Baby's Breath. Such a fun technique. Hope you try ;)
DeleteBoth cards are splendid! I particularly like the way you did the vellum. I haven't worked with it much but maybe I'll give it a try. TFS.
