Curvy Keepsake Thinlits - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

There must be more than a million ways to decorate the new Curvy Keepsake box. These thinlits are SO cute (page 11, Holiday Catalogue)!!! Here are some fun ideas to get your juices going. Of course, these would work for loads of other types of boxes too. I'll jump straight in!

Curvy Keepsake Thinlits + Watercolour Wonder Washi Tape ~ Susan Wong
'Washi Tape' It Box:
Crisp Cantaloupe and Whisper White bases covered in part with Watercolour Wonder washi tape.
1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch in Crushed Curry, Hello Honey, Daffodil Delight & So Saffron.
Vintage Faceted Designer Button.
Gold Metallic Baker's Twine.

{Quick Yellow Flower Tutorial - Punch four scallop circles (I used the colours listed above). Screw them up and unscrew them a few times until the two layers start separating. Gently pull the two layers of card stock apart - it's all good if they rip a bit here and there, that's part of the look. Adhere all 8 halves furry side up with a small dot of glue in the centre of each one. Punch a hole in the middle and thread through some baker's twine which is attached to a button. Use the twine at the back to tie to your box.}

Hope you had fun - hop on over to Teneale's blog next.
